§31.310 in accordance with §7-148b of the general statutes and the provisions of §6D-1 of the Charter of the City of Waterbury, there shall be a Fair Rent Commission.  The Fair Rent Commission shall consist of five (5) members, no more than three (3) of whom shall be members of the same political party.  One (1) member shall be a member of the Board of Aldermen appointed by the Mayor for a term corresponding to the member's immediate term as an Alderman.  The Mayor shall appoint two (2) members whose terms shall expire on December 31, 2024, and two (2) members whose terms shall expire on December 31, 2026.  At the expiration of their respective terms, their successors shall be appointed for a term of four (4) years.  The Aldermanic member shall be appointed as set forth above.

All meetings of the Fair Rent Commission are held the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM, unless otherwise noted.
*In the event of a holiday, the meeting will take place on the next business day.
Location shall be determined by availability.
