What is 311?
311 is a non-emergency telephone number that Waterbury residents can dial for information regarding municipal services and/or to submit a service request to the City of Waterbury. Easy to remember, the 311 telephone number provides residents with quick and easy access to municipal services. When 311 is dialed from a landline or mobile phone in Waterbury, the resident is directed to the Citizens Service Center, located in City Hall. The friendly staff of the Citizens Service Center is standing by to answer questions and assist residents in submitting, tracking and resolving issues and concerns related to municipal services. From barking dogs and blighted properties to potholes and garbage concerns, we are here to help.
The Citizens Service Center is open Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In the case of an emergency, please dial 911.
When activated, the Emergency Operations Center will use the 311 telephone number. The Emergency Operations Center is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
