CD YR 43 (2017-2018) Annual Action Plan

Notice is hereby given that the following Substantial Amendment to the CD YR 43 (2017-2018) Annual Action Plan was approved.

  • Substantial Amendment to the CD YR 43 (2017-2018) Annual Action Plan in order to reallocate excess funds from 3 splash pad projects (Martin Luther King, Curtin and Hamilton Parks) in the amount of $130,853 to 2 air conditioning projects at (North End Recreation and River Baldwin Recreation Centers).

In accordance with the Citizen Participation Plan, the major reprogramming of funds of more than 5% of the grant allocation or $100,000 whichever is greater constitutes a Substantial Amendment to the Consolidated/Annual Action Plan.

The Proposed Substantial Amendment was published in the Republican American on May 4, 2018 and May 14, 2018 and on the City’s website. A Public Hearing was held on May 21, 2018 by the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC); there were no public speakers. The thirty (30) day comment period commenced on May 4, 2018 and ended on June 2, 2018; there were no public comments received.  

The Proposed Substantial Amendment was approved by the Board of Aldermen at their meeting on June 11, 2018.  Notice of this will be sent to HUD.
