Dog Licenses

Dog license renewals begin June 1st. In order to avoid a late fee, please submit your payment and documentation by June 30th.

Online Dog License Renewals

If your dog was registered last year and the rabies certification is still current, you can save time by renewing the license through the IQS online portal between June 1 and August 31:

Online Dog License Renewal

Please note: IQS charges an additional $1.75 convenience fee for online license renewals.

All new and renewal licenses require a copy of your dog's current rabies certificate from the vet. Licenses for a new dog that has not been licensed in the prior year also require a copy of the spayed/neutered certificate from the vet, if applicable.

Be sure to enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope in addition to the required documents and proper payment. See the fee schedule below; cash or check only. If you are registering multiple dogs, please remember to place an additional stamp on the return envelope.

In-Person Renewals & Registrations

City Hall is currently open to the public. No appointment is necessary for in-person license renewals and new registrations. However, please be aware that you may experience wait times as there are restrictions on the number of people allowed in the office at any given time due to the public health emergency.
