BARBERSHOP AND COSMETOLOGY ESTABLISHMENTS

The Environmental Health Division is a code enforcement agency that ensures the health and wellbeing of Waterbury residents including by licensing and inspecting barbershops, salons and cosmetology establishments.

These establishments are must obtain an annual license from the Waterbury Health Department to operate and they are inspected annually. Inspections focus on operational standards, proper equipment, general sanitary conditions of the facility and sanitation.
