Public Art Committee

The mission of the Waterbury Public Art Committee is to enhance the economic and community revitalization of Waterbury through integrated arts and performing arts projects that complement the city’s long-range plan for beautification and development.  WPAC provides opportunities for artists to be represented in local public art and the performing arts and for community residents to have access to and participate in the process of implementing public art in their community and neighborhoods.

The Committee is appointed by the Mayor of the City of Waterbury, Neil M. O’Leary. Members serve without compensation and have experience or interest in the arts, and actively contribute to the City’s cultural and economic sectors.

Meetings are typically held the second Thursday of the month, 4:00-5:00 pm
