§31.005: In accordance with the provisions of § 6D-1 of the Charter of the City there shall be an Inland, Wetlands and Watercourse Commission. The Inland, Wetlands and Watercourse Commission shall consist of five (5) members, no more than three (3) of whom shall be members of the same political party. One (1) member shall be a member of the Board of Aldermen, for a term corresponding to said member’s immediate term as an Alderman. Successors shall be appointed for a term of four (4) years. The Aldermanic members shall be appointed as set forth above. During January of each even-numbered year, the Commission shall select from among their members a chair and such other officers as they may desire. The City Plan Office shall act as the secretary and record keeper for the Commission and shall forward a copy of all goings on of said Commission to the City Clerk.

The Commission shall meet on the First Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
