§31.180: In accordance with the provisions of the §6C-8 of the Charter of the City there shall be a Board of Assessment Appeals. The Board of Assessment Appeals shall consist of three (3) members, none of whom shall be members of the same political party. Successors shall be appointed for a term of four (4) years. Additional members may be appointed in any assessment year, or any other time allowed by the General Statutes. 

 The Board of Assessment Appeals shall meet from time to time as necessary.
