Waterbury Water Rates

In accordance with Conn. Gen Statues §7-239 pertaining to notification of charges for water service users of the Waterbury Water System, notice is hereby given that there will be a Public Hearing on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. before the Board of Aldermen for purposes of providing information and receiving public comment related to the implementation of a rate schedule from the City’s Water Bureau for water use charges for fiscal year ending June 30, 2023.  The proposed water use rate is $2.65/CCF.  Also, the basic service charge proposed is $12 per Quarter. The proposed rate schedule will be implemented effective July 1, 2022 once approved by the Board of Aldermen.  A copy of the proposed rate schedule is on file and available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office, 235 Grand St., Waterbury, Mon. – Fri., 8:30am – 4:30pm.
