WATERBURY, CT, January 25, 2005 --- The Department of Inspections announced this morning its revised capabilities and office hours while temporarily housed in the Silas Bronson Library due to Sunday’s flooding of City Hall.
All of the Department’s phone lines are currently open and attendants are available to answer these calls. For Building Permits, please call 203-574-6832. For Electrical Permits, please call (203) 574-8382. For Plumbing and Heating Permits, please call (203) 574-6855 or (203) 574-6856.
Representatives from the Inspections Department will be housed in the Library as of noon today, January 25, 2005 that will handle permits, forms, information services and questions regarding the Department of Inspections. In addition, the Building Inspector will be stationed at the library as of noon today. The Plumbing and Heating Inspector will follow normal hours, and will be available daily from 8:00 am - 9:30 am, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm, and 3:30-4:00 pm, and will be in the field the remainder of the day. The Electrical Inspector will also follow normal hours and will be available from 8:00 am - 9:30 am and 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm, and will be in the field the remainder of the day.
