The Public Works Bureau of Refuse will be collecting brush curbside on Saturday morning 11/5/11. No bagged yard waste will be collected at that time.
Only limbs 4” or less in diameter and 4 foot in length will be collected during that Saturday collection.
The Mark Lane Transfer Facility will be open on Saturday 11/5/11 from 7am to 2pm and Sunday 11/6/11 from 7am to 12 pm to allow residents to dispose of brush. Only limbs 4” or less in diameter and 4 foot in length will be accepted during this time. Waterbury residents only! No commercial landscaping or tree companies will be allowed to dispose of debris at this site.
The annual limit of 4 loads of brush per residential address has been waived for the month of November.
Normal yard waste collections will occur on Wednesday(s) 11/9/11 and 11/16/11.
At this time no large limbs or trees are being collected and cannot be disposed of at the Mark Lane Transfer Facility. Residents will need to contract with tree professionals for the removal of large limbs and/or trees on private property.
