1/18/2009 - Board of Assessment Appeals Meeting Notice










                                        Notice is hereby given that the Board of Assessment

                              Appeals of the City of Waterbury, will meet for the

                              transaction of such business as shall be legally brought

                              before it.    


                              The purpose of the meeting is to hear appeals on Real

                              Estate and Personal Property assessments from the

                              2008 Grand List, and for Motor Vehicles on the 2007

                              Grand List supplement.


                              All appeals must be made in writing in accordance with CGS 12-111.

                              Forms will be available online at or in the Assessor’s office February 1st – February 20th, 2009.

                              The hearings are scheduled for March 2nd, 3rd, & 4th of 2009 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. They will be held in the Assessor’s Office, City Hall Annex Building, 26 Kendrick Avenue, 7th fl.


                              We will be meeting September 8, 2009 to hear appeals on your

                              2008 Grand List Motor Vehicles.  Applications for these appeals will be available in August of this year at the location listed above.
