Water Service Restoration Underway; Mayor to Provide Update at Morning Press Conference

(WATERBURY, CT.) Overnight, Water Department crews and Dayton Construction successfully completed repairs to the second transmission water main break on Tompkins Street. Water is now being gradually reintroduced into the system, and water service is expected to be restored incrementally as pressure builds throughout the distribution system.

Mayor Paul K. Pernerewski, Jr., joined by Water Superintendent Ramon Esponda, will provide an on-site update regarding the repairs, the restoration process, and next steps during a press conference this morning.
