City of Waterbury Announces Sidewalk Improvement Schedule Update

(WATERBURY, CT) - The City of Waterbury Engineering Department announced that sidewalk accessibility improvements will continue this week at several locations throughout the city, weather permitting.

Olmstead Contracting will be replacing sidewalk curb ramps on the following streets through Thursday, July 3, 2026:

• Owl's Nest Drive
• Mountain Laurel Drive
• Running Brook Drive

Motorists should expect occasional traffic delays in these areas and are encouraged to seek alternate routes whenever possible.

These improvements are part of the city's ongoing infrastructure program to enhance pedestrian safety and improve accessibility in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
