Waterbury Winter Storm Notice
Parking Ban
EFFECTIVE: Saturday February 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM and continuing until
Sunday February 16, 2025 at 6:00 PM.
Due to the forecasted winter storm, Mayor Paul Pernerewski has announced the activation of a snow parking ban for the City of Waterbury, effective Saturday February 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM and continuing until Sunday February 16, 2025 at 6:00 PM.
“The forecasted precipitation will begin Saturday afternoon and will consist of a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain and will continue into Sunday. We ask residents to move their vehicles to the even side of the street or to a city parking garage to help our Public Works Department clear roads and ensure the safety of all residents,” said Mayor Pernerewski.
In addition to all currently posted "Snow Zones," there will be NO Parking on the odd-numbered side of all city streets. Residents are strongly encouraged to use their driveways or city parking garages instead of parking on the street.
Please be aware: Vehicles parked in snow zones or on the odd-numbered side of streets may be towed at the owner's expense.
