Waterbury Winter Storm Notice

Parking Ban
EFFECTIVE: Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 6:00 AM

Waterbury Parking Ban Announcement

Due to the forecasted winter storm, Mayor Paul Pernerewski has announced the activation of a snow parking ban for the City of Waterbury, effective Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 6:00 AM and continuing until 8:00 PM.

“The forecasted precipitation beginning early tomorrow morning will consist of mainly snow and sleet with accumulations in Waterbury between 2 and 4 inches. We ask residents to move their vehicles to the even side of the street or to a city parking garage to help our Public Works Department clear roads and ensure the safety of all residents,” said Mayor Pernerewski.

In addition to all currently posted "Snow Zones," there will be NO Parking on the odd-numbered side of all city streets. Residents are strongly encouraged to use their driveways or city parking garages instead of parking on the street.
Please be aware: Vehicles parked in snow zones or on the odd-numbered side of streets may be towed at the owner's expense.
