1/31/2024 - Second Notice of Public Hearing CD YR 50




In accordance with the City of Waterbury’s Citizen Participation Plan (CPP), there will be a Public Hearing to solicit citizen input on the needs of the community before the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 5:30 p.m., Meeting Room #118, Office of Community Development, 188 Bank Street, Waterbury, CT 06702.

The City of Waterbury has not yet received notice of its allocations for the upcoming program year; and, per HUD’s guidance, intends to use the current year allocations as the baseline for planning purposes. These amounts may increase or decrease depending upon the final federal approved budget. The 2023-2024 CD YR 49 allocations were as follows: $2,133,069 (CDBG), $186,749 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and $979,755 HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME). Program income is anticipated to be $2,500 for HOME and $14,000 for CDBG. The Program Year for FY 2024 (CD YR 50) commences October 1, 2024, and ends on September 30, 2025.
