A heat
wave has arrived and is anticipated to impact Waterbury these next few days. As
a reminder Waterbury has many options for our residents to cool off.
COOLING
STATIONS:
Cooling stations will be open at the following locations
within our City of Waterbury:

River-Baldwin Recreation
Center, located at 135 East Liberty Street. Open Tuesday, July 19 – Saturday,
July 23, 8:30 am – 8:30 pm.

North End Recreation
Center, located at 262 North Main Street. Open Tuesday, July 19 – Friday, July
22, 8:30 am – 8:30 pm, Saturday, July 23, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
·
Waterbury Senior
Center, located at 1985 East Main Street, for seniors aged 60 & above only.
Open Tuesday, July 19 – Friday, July 22, 9:00 am – extended hours. (Please call
203-574-6746 for questions about the Waterbury Senior Center)
