6/27/2022 - Waterbury Housing Plan 2022-2027
The City Plan Commission will hold a public information meeting on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. in the Waterbury City Hall Aldermanic Chambers, Second Floor, 235 Grand Street, Waterbury, CT. The City Plan Commission is currently in the process of developing a plan entitled “Waterbury Housing Plan 2022-2027”. The purpose of the informational meeting is to hear from the public and solicit comments and constructive ideas for addressing the City’s short and long term housing needs; with particular emphasis on promoting safe and affordable housing.
Under Connecticut state law, municipalities throughout Connecticut are required to produce a 5-year affordable housing plan which serves as a guide and visionary document for making future housing policy decisions.
