The City of Waterbury has been informed by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that it will be receiving $3,248,404 in HOME Investment Partnerships – America Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funding.

In accordance with the City of Waterbury’s Citizen Participation Plan, there will be a Virtual Public Hearing to solicit citizen input on the needs of the community before the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. To participate in this Public Hearing, you must register at: https://tinyurl.com/4r9273f9.

Persons with a disability or non-English speaking who wish to participate should contact Nancy Allen at 203-346-3810 ext. 7274 or by email at nallen@waterburyct.org no later than February 14, 2022, to discuss how the City can accommodate their needs.

In an effort to maximize public participation, the City has created a HOME-ARP community survey. The survey may be accessed online at www.waterburyct.org/home-arp. The City will also provide copies of the survey at the Office of Community Development, the Office of the City Clerk, and the Silas Bronson Library. Interested residents will have until Thursday, March 10, 2022, to complete and submit the survey.
