PUBLIC HEARING
AVAILABILITY OF
COMMUNITY SURVEY
WATERBURY HOME-ARP
The
City of Waterbury has been informed by the United States Department of Housing
and Urban Development (HUD) that it will be receiving $3,248,404 in HOME
Investment Partnerships – America Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funding.
In
accordance with the City of Waterbury’s Citizen Participation Plan, there will
be a Virtual Public Hearing to solicit citizen input on the needs of the
community before the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) on Tuesday, February 15,
2022 at 5:30 p.m. To participate in this Public Hearing, you must register at: https://tinyurl.com/4r9273f9.
Persons
with a disability or non-English speaking who wish to participate should
contact Nancy Allen at 203-346-3810 ext. 7274 or by email at nallen@waterburyct.org no later than
February 14, 2022, to discuss how the City can accommodate their needs.
In
an effort to maximize public participation, the City has created a HOME-ARP community
survey. The survey may be accessed online at www.waterburyct.org/home-arp. The City will
also provide copies of the survey at the Office of Community Development, the
Office of the City Clerk, and the Silas Bronson Library. Interested residents
will have until Thursday, March 10, 2022, to complete and submit the survey.
