Board of Aldermen- Remote Access for Board Members and the Public

Members of the Board of Aldermen will join the Monday, April 6th meeting through the use of Zoom, which can be accessed either through a computer with both audio and video, a computer with just audio, or a normal telephone. This will give full participation for members. Access information will be provided to the Aldermen before the meeting and all members will be offered an opportunity to “practice” in advance to ensure access to the meeting remotely. A regular conference phone with a conference call-in number and access code will be available to board members as a backup to Zoom.

Members of the public who wish to address the Board may register the night of the meeting, at least fifteen minutes prior to the start of the meeting by calling 203-597-3477 and providing their name, address, and callback telephone number. Members of the public will be called individually to conference into the meeting at the appropriate time and in the order they have signed up to speak.

Dept. Heads and Dept. Representatives with business before the Board who cannot appear in person will be called at the appropriate time during the committee portion and conferenced into the meeting.

The entire proceedings of the meetings will be broadcast as usual over local Government Access television.
