High School sophomores sought for Global Leadership Institute

 Ten high school sophomores from Waterbury are being sought with 10 students from the Taft School in Watertown for participation in the Global Leadership Institute. The mission of GLI is to develop a generation of global leaders with a genuine concern for world problems, multiple perspectives on global issues and the skills to contribute toward the solution of these problems. Students are eligible to apply as sophomores and, if selected, will begin the program this coming January. This is a great opportunity to expose yourself to global learning and issues. It will also look good on college applications. Waterbury high school students interested in applying should see their guidance counselor for an application and for information on how the application process works.
