6/1/2016 - Street sweeping schedule for weeks of May 31-June 6

The City’s residential street sweeping program continues for the next six weeks

Property owners are asked to begin sweeping their sidewalks into the immediate gutter line, removing any debris, litter and leaves. Sand should not be swept into large piles.

Week of 5/31/16

Crew 1:  During the first two weeks of June, work will be ongoing on the west side of town. Crews will start at the Middlebury town line and work easterly into the neighborhoods along Chase Parkway and Park Road, and then will begin work in the Robinwood neighborhood.

Crew 2 will continue sweeping in District 4. Areas to be swept include Frost Road and the intersecting streets, the Hamilton Park area and the Manor Avenue-Bouley Avenue areas.

 Week of 6/1/16

Crews will begin working in District 5-4. This district encompasses Waterville Street easterly to Hill Street, and Chase Avenue south to Roseland Avenue. Included in this region is the Kingsbury School area and the Upper Fulton Park neighborhood.

The Public Works Department will post signs in the districts prior to scheduled sweeping. Every effort should be made to remove parked vehicles from the scheduled routes prior to the arrival of the sweepers. Vehicles not removed during the sweeping operation may be towed at the owner’s expense.
