Construction to improve storm drainage on Country Club Road is expected to start on Monday May 9. Work to install 960 linear feet of drainage pipe and needed catch basins to alleviate a roadway icing problem will occur between Oronoke and Eastfield roads. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area. Work hours will be Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Traffic control personnel will be on scene during these work hours and motorists should anticipate some delays as there will be alternating traffic during construction in the roadway.
