The 1st Christopher Corbett 5K Run will be held this Sunday April 3, 8:30 a.m., at Holy Cross High School, 587 Oronoke Road, Waterbury. It will benefit the Christopher D. Corbett Memorial Fund.
The fund was established to honor the memory of Waterbury Police Department Deputy Chief Christopher Corbett by continuing to foster the education of parochial school students in the Greater Waterbury area. The fund provides scholarships to children attending parochial schools in the Greater Waterbury area as well as high school seniors graduating from parochial high schools in the Greater Waterbury area who are pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
