Christmas Tree Collection

The final curbside collection of Christmas trees will take place Wednesday February 3, 2016. Residents are advised to place trees at the curb the day before this collection. Trees should be free of all lights and decorations and removed from plastic bags. You may also dispose of your tree at the Mark Lane Transfer Facility, 220 Mark Lane, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Again, trees must be free of all lights, decorations and removed from plastic bags. The trees will be ground for mulch. If you want to dispose of an artificial tree, put it out with your regular trash. Questions? Call the Bureau of Refuse at 203-574-6857.
