Health Care Enrollment/Renewal Session this Saturday at Waterbury City Hall

Enroll or renew your health insurance coverage with free help this Saturday Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Hall on the Second Floor of Waterbury City Hall, 235 Grand Street. The session is sponsored by Health Educated Inc., an organization that addresses consumer needs in the new health-insurance marketplaces created by Obamacare.

Sponsors include the City Health Department, Staywell Health Care, Brass City Pharmacy, Madre Latina and Neighborhood Housing Services of Waterbury.

Assistance will be available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. People enrolling or renewing health-care insurance should bring:

• Social Security number

• Visa, green card or other immigration documents

•  Most recent tax return

• Employer information

• Current insurance coverage if covered.

Dec. 15 is the deadline for coverage that starts Jan. 1.
