6/30/2015 - Fireworks set for Saturday July 4 at 9:15 p.m.; rain date July 5

The City will set off its July 4 fireworks from Holy Land USA atop Pine Hill beginning around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday July 4. In case of rain, the fireworks display will be postponed to July 5.

Mayor O'Leary is encouraging people to organize block parties to watch the fireworks with their friends and neighbors.

The City is also suggesting several places from which people can view the fireworks. These include Maloney Magnet School on South Elm Street, Washington Park, Hamilton Park and Chase Park. Other places include the Hamilton Avenue commuter parking lot and South Elm Street, which will be closed between East Clay and Union Streets.
