Everybody in!!

The public pools at Fulton and Hamilton Parks opened Saturday June 27 for the season from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As of Tuesday June 30, Lakewood Park opened for swimming and will be staffed with lifeguards seven days a week. It was previously closed due to high bacteria levels from Canada geese that populate the lake. The water will be tested again later this week.

The opening of the Washington Park pool is tentatively set for Saturday July 4 due to unforeseen problems that required the emergency purchase of a new pump, which now has to be installed.
