4/8/2015 - Valve problem causes water outage to City's West End

A water valve that needs to be repaired has forced the city’s Water Department to shut off water service Wednesday afternoon to homes on several streets in the City’s West End. The water was shut off around 2:15 p.m. and is expected to be restored around 8:30 p.m.

The affected streets include: Newfield Avenue from Park Road to Thompson Avenue; Lakeside Boulevard from Thompson Avenue to 200 feet south of Hampton Road; Thompson Avenue; Chapin Avenue; Hampton Road; Lakeside Boulevard from Larchmont Avenue to the City Line; Jo-Ann Drive; Eastview Avenue; Anawan Avenue; Forest Avenue; Crest Street; Charter Oak Avenue; Highwood Road and Larchmont Avenue.
