Substantial Amendment
CD YR 36 (2010-2011) Annual Action Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Proposed Substantial Amendment to the CD YR 36 (2010-2011) Annual Action Plan in order to reallocate the sum of $169,162.50 from the Residential Rehabilitation Program to the Emergency Relocation line was approved. The Emergency Relocation Program is in need of additional funds due to the number of cases which the City has had over the past six months.

The Proposed Substantial Amendment was published in the Republican American on February 21 and March 10, 2014 and placed on the City’s and WDC’s websites.  A Public Hearing was held on March 18, 2014 by the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC).  The thirty (30) day comment period commenced on February 21, 2014 and ended on March 22, 2014. There were no comments received and no public speakers at the Public Hearing. The Waterbury Development Corporation (WDC) Board of Directors approved this at their meeting on March 24, 2014. This Substantial Amendment was also approved by the Board of Aldermen at their meeting on April 7, 2014.  Notice of this will be sent to HUD.
