10/8/2013 - Palace Theater Issues Parking Notice for October 10

Limited Parking Available in Scovill Street Garage for Thursday Matinee of Jersey Boys

Patrons attending the Palace Theater’s Thursday, October 10, matinee performance of Jersey Boys are being advised to arrive early to the performance in order to park in time for the show’s 1 p.m. curtain.

Due to the time of the performance and the large numbers attending, the Scovill Street Garage, which provides parking for city employees and local businesses during the work week, will not be able to accommodate both regular parkers and the amount of patrons attending the show.

For directions to alternate parking areas located within walking distance of the Palace, patrons are encouraged to visit the City of Waterbury’s online parking guide at www.waterburyparking.com. Patrons who are unable to walk more than one block are advised to be dropped off at the theater’s main entrance before parking their vehicles.

For this specific performance, all official City of Waterbury parking garages will accept Palace parking vouchers purchased for the Scovill Street Garage and will extend a flat $5.00 parking fee for customers who present their Jersey Boys theater ticket. Street parking and private parking lots are also available throughout the city, but prices may vary. Patrons are encouraged not to park in unauthorized lots, as vehicles may be towed.

For more information, contact the Palace Theater Box Office at 203-346-2000.
