10/1/2013 - City of Waterbury Online Procurement

 

Purchasing Department has launched a new procurement website that will automate the City of Waterbury's bid process.  Please register your business on our new eBid site.  Registration opens October 1, 2013 and will be ongoing.

Vendors must register online prior to November 14th in order to receive bid notifications.  You may register after this date, however you will not receive notifcations until your registration is complete.  Purchasing Department will post all notifications and bid documents on the eBid website.  Notifications and bid documents will no longer be mailed out beginning November 15, 2013.

You can access the eBid webiste from the City site: www.waterburyct.org/purchasingClick on eBid to enter the website.

Click the REGISTER tab.  Enter your email address and company name, click NEXT.  You will receive an email message with an activation link.  Click on the link, enter a password, and proceed to register your company.

 

Now through November 14, 2013: Specifications may be obtained by potential bidders by applying at the office of the purchasing department: City of Waterbury, Rocco F. Orso, Director of Purchasing, 235 Grand Street, Waterbury, CT 06702.

Beginning November 15, 2013: Bid specifications may be obtained by potential bidders by clicking on the link labeled Waterbury eBid. All potential vendors will first need to have registered their business in order to access bid notifications and documents and to submit bids online. You may register at any time by clicking the link and entering the eBid site. There is a tutorial on the site to assist you with registration if needed.
