The requirements to adopt a pet from the City of Waterbury include: valid ID, completion of Adoption Agreement with the City of Waterbury Animal Control Division and, if residence is a rental, a copy of lease agreement indicating the acceptance of the type of animal chosen on property or letter from property owner stating the same. The adoption fee for Connecticut residents is $50 and it is $5 for non-residents. The adoption includes the State of Connecticut spay/neuter voucher for CT residents.
