The following are the requirements to obtain a pistol permit: a completed and notarized application form, a copy of a completed NRA basic pistol training course, a copy of birth certificate or passport, a copy of your CT driver's license, proof of residency, and copy of your fingerprint receipt. If applicant is a resident alien, a copy of their green card is needed or naturalization number.
