Singer Ann Hampton Callaway Perform in Place of December First Thursdays
The Mattatuck Museum has cancelled the December First Thursdays event because the renowned jazz artist and Broadway singer Ann Hampton Callaway will appear at the Museum on Friday, December 3rd. The Museum encourages all First Thursdays fans to enjoy an exciting night of food and drink among the gaily decorated galleries during the Festival of Traditions on Friday night for the Festival Gala.
Ann Hampton Callaway’s performance will also feature hors d’oeuvres and a dinner served by the Exhibition Café. There will be wine and a martini bar, a silent auction, celebrity decorated canvases, dessert and coffee and over 100 beautifully decorated trees and wreathes in the galleries. The night will end with a retro dance party featuring the band Sister Funk.
