Waterbury Train Station Parking and Pedestrian Access Improvements
State Project 304-12

The Waterbury Development Corporation in cooperation with the City of Waterbury and the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation hereby provides notice of proposed improvements in the vicinity of 333-339 Meadow Street and the Metro North Waterbury Train Station.

Proposed improvements include pavement resurfacing and restriping, traffic circulation improvements, a bus pickup/drop off zone, installation of bus shelters, lighting and security enhancements, sidewalks and landscaping. The estimated construction cost is in the range of $500,000 - $1,000,000. Project funding is being provided by the Federal Transit Administration and the State of Connecticut.

Plans are available for public review at the above address or by visiting http://www.wdconline.org or http://www.waterburyct.org. The public review and comment period will remain open through July 13, 2018.
