Residents from Waterbury and all Connecticut towns are invited to recycle their old televisions and other electronics at this annual free event. 

Bring the following items for environmentally-safe disposal while also supporting a Waterbury business, Take 2, Inc.:

ü  DVD Players

ü  Copiers & Fax Machines

ü  Scanners

ü  Video Game Machines

ü  iPods/PDAs

ü  Modems

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  Can I bring electronics even if I do not live in Waterbury?

A:  Yes!   Take 2, Inc. accepts the listed electronics from all Connecticut residents.

 

Q:  Can I bring computers and other electronics from my business?

A:  No!   This program allows residents to recycle the computers, TVs and other electronics used at home.  Businesses should contact Take 2 regarding their services for businesses:  203-286-5757

 

Q:   I cannot make the event on September 16th.  How can I recycle my ewaste?

A:   All Connecticut residents can bring their old electronics directly to Take 2, Inc. 6 days a week throughout the year.   Take 2, Inc. is located at 567 South Leonard Street, Building 1, Waterbury, CT  06708 (if navigating by GPS us “295 South Leonard Street”).  Hours:  Mon-Fri 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; Saturday 8 am – noon.  203-286-5757. Waterbury residents may also bring their old electronics to Waterbury’s Mark Lane Facility, 220 Mark Lane.  Hours March – November:  Tue-Sat 7:00 – 3:00 pm/December – February 28:  Mon-Fri 7:00 – 3:00.  203-756-7365.
