Provides health education materials regarding immunizations, informative presentations, and free monthly immunization clinics for Waterbury residents, ages 0 to 18 years old. Registered Nurses provide: Comprehensive school health services to public, parochial and private schools, including home visits to school children from preschool to high school ages
Investigation, tracking and follow-up education to residents with reportable communicable diseases
Clinic Services as follows: - Adult Immunization ( fee for this service ) - Provides Hepatitis B, Td, MMR, PPD (TB testing) for the general public (2 times per month, call clerk)
- Chest Consultation Services ( appointment required ) - Provides evaluation and follow- up of Tuberculin reactors and persons with Tuberculosis disease
- P.P.D. Testing ( fee for this service ) - Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 am to 12 noon only
Sexually Transmitted Diseases [STD] ( Bilingual (English/Spanish) services available ) - Provides free and confidential testing and treatment
Clinic Schedule:
- Adult Immunization/Hepatitis B (fee for this service ) : Held twice a month; call for dates/times
- Chest Consultation Services (appointment required ) : Held at St. Mary's Hospital 2-3 Mondays per month at 9:00 am
- STD Clinic ( Minors can be examined/treated without parental consent; Bilingual (English/Spanish) services available) : Tuesdays 8:30 am, Thursdays 12:30 pm

Contact: Nancy Braz, BS WIC is a supplementary food program for pregnant and breast feeding and post-partum women; infants and children under 5 years of age. WIC provides healthy foods and nutrition education. Eligibility is based on income and nutritional need.
